Last week, I was at the exciting re-launch of the Men’s contemporary floor at the Harvey Nichols store in Knightsbridge. Harvey Nichols’s contemporary section is now beyond varied with 22 exclusive brands, from well known Been Trill and Black Scale to newcomers, Trapstar redline and V-Files Sport. The launch party hit off with live music from Gianni Lee (Winner of the VFiles DJ Championship 2014,) and plenty of fashionistas in tow. Our Legacy, Serge De Nimes, Alpha Industries and A.P.C are among the names now available in the 3,175sq ft space, located on the Lower Ground Floor 2 of the Knightsbridge flagship. Adding to the retailer’s largest ever menswear edit is Y3, Oak NY, Black Scale, Cmmn Swdn and Les Artist. These sit alongside Hall of Fame, Sidian, Ersatz & Vanes, Silent by Damir Doma and TSPTR. Whistles, which launched its debut menswear collection earlier this year, is also benefiting from the revamp.
