2021:9: Some African Girl Magical Affirmations to kick away the #Lockdown Blues

I start my day with thanksgiving.

I am thankful to the Most High for waking me up today, and my friends and loved ones.

I am always in awe and admiration of how big, how beautiful and exponentially awe-inspiring the universe is.

How it mirrors my body, a divine temple.

I’m so blessed!

I am love & I am light, limitless & immeasurable like the universe

– I am free to dream in colours & in beautiful rhymes

– Nobody is ugly when they are smiling, a smile can travel a million miles

– Pain, anxiety, stress & feeling down is an  indicator I need to take some time to re-center my thoughts, body and awareness to the present

I am alive, I am breathing.

I look forward to this period of not knowing when lockdown will end. I am not overwhelmed with uncertainty because  I am certain that I have time as always to fulfill my ideas, dreams & hobbies.

I focus on my certainty. I know I will spend as much time as I need:

I walk with the sun. I am positive and create  productive actions and creativity for myself, my loved ones and my support bubble & community.

I give & receive for the universal good of everyone and the earth. When I feel I am tumbling into a negative online scroll I know I can always take a break and count  my blessings.

I protect my energy and my wellbeing from being overwhelmed. I am proud of the human being I am, I’ve always been and will continue to grow into.

I think good thoughts, pray for positive change not just for myself but also for others and the world.

I’m not afraid to realise my goals and I always look to the light and love even when it seems like everything’s going a bit awry.

I drink lots of water and let go of everything that is detrimental to my progress & journey.

I am always loved, protected and have an army of cool cats who are praying and willing me to be the best person I can be and fulfill my potential.

Whenever I don’t feel good, I think about the cool cat community, how much they love me and we know what it’s like to be cool, creative, arty, awesome, shinning stars and the sparkly light in our world 💫✨
